Joanna M. Pendleton is a relentless poet and experienced educator whose lifelong passions for Bible stories and children’s literature have blossomed into her first book, Tales of Foreverly. Before becoming an author, she was a special education teacher, homeschool mentor, and tutor to students in the entertainment industry. She’s also a wife and mother. Her work appears in the magazine, Ruminate, and the online publication, The Waking. She lives in Newhall, CA with her husband, Rick, and their fancy cat, Layla.
Like the Narnia of C.S. Lewis, Tales of Foreverly provides children with an imaginative way to understand how the most important aspect of God’s love involves a beautiful act of enormous sacrifice. The vivid setting and characters spark curiosity for teaching basic biblical principle suited for followup discussions.

Note from the author: Tales of Foreverly came out of my imagination as I pondered stories and verses from the Bible. I hope that reading inspires you to use your imagination, too! As long as you keep your mind focused on beautiful, adventurous things, your imagination will overflow with fantastic ideas for you to share with others. Using our imaginations in this way helps us to stay focused on things that are eternal, things that are not only in this world, but that are FOREVER.
